Nice article!

i actually was thinking of doing a xingu biotope awhile back, but decided to go with amazon basin insted

I was thinking about those lines about piranha in this biotape.

"
Potamotrygon specimen that was bitten very early on by a piranha, but the wound healed quickly, and later the piranha were driven off by the stingrays. These photographs show clearly how quickly the stingray has adapted to its new home and the fine sand on the bottom. "

And "
Piranhas (here are six large specimens) that live harmoniously together with larger silver dollars (Mylossoma, Myleus, Metynnis) and other tetras, large loricarriids, cichlids, such as Heros (sometimes also Geophagus) species and stingrays (that often remain buried in fine sand during the day). There are hardly any plants in this habitat, except during periods of rising water. These fish groups stay in the open water, there where sunlight can penetrate, just as is seen here. It is an authentic, realistic habitat with stones, sand, tree roots and very few plants. "

All I have to say is WOW. I'm really surprised with the rays in there. Did it say how long this setup has been running?
