How long can I leave a tank unattended with light timers, and an automatic feeder before I need to be back. Which feeder lasts the longest?

I used the one that walmart has and went to New York for a week. Got back and everyone was fat and the feeder was still over half full.
If you have the time, try one out while you are home and if you don't like it... take it back and get a diffetant one.

It might be a good idea to check on them after a couple weeks, or have someone stop in- I once left an auto feeder for a couple weeks and it didn't run out but it got jammed up somehow and wasn't dropping any food - half of my fish were dead when I got back =(
