well i have been trying to find a good automatic feeder for a good price

for y i don't really need one but it not the point, i will find one

just a heads up for you guys on what not to buy

every one swears by the ehiem feeder, its crap

my first one lasted a couple months before it would just keep spinning (emptying all the food in the tank) changed the batteries, performed surgery, nothing worked,

so i bought a new one,
worked for a while, then the screen went blank and it just spins, another fifthy dollars down the drain,
i got this one to work after messing with it,

but i cant trust it any more, could you imagine ur out of town and on day one a weeks worth of food is dumped into the tank,

second peice of crap

this guy

looks like it hold a ton of food right, wrong you cant fill the inside of the clear bin

oh and to set it up is a nighhtmare you have to remove a clamp and put in pins and pia
there now setting besides that if you want it to feed 2 a day well it will start 90 mins after you plugged it in
hope you have time on your hands
no manual feed option
the say it fits big pellets but it doesnt only small
and the on i bought from bigalsonline didnt even work,
they told be that i have to call Lifegard Aquatics
they have a common problem that many ship with,
life gaurd wanted me to ship it to them to fix it, but its still crap even if its working
im working on returning it at big als online(there cool people they dont know there stuff is crap)

so the next one i want to try is this puppie

thanks for listening

I have the last one you will be receiving. I find the feeder to work without any issues. The only thing that it seems to do poorly in, is if you mix a variety of sizes into the feeder, and it is difficult to clean.

You can set the feeder to feed up to 4 times a day.
