Hey everyone, ive got kind of a random idea/question here.
I recently set up my hex tank and im looking for a way to decorate it, its about 45 gallons according to my calculations (bought it used and leak tested it for a week)
so ive already got two tanks set up and both are as natural looking as im capable of accomplishing, id like to do this tank as far from natural as possible.
That being said, im a car guy. So ive been trying to think of parts that i could use in the tank that wouldnt hurt the water chemistry or basically fall apart.
The other issue with this is preparing a part that might have had oil on or in it in the tank, any suggestions for that or just avoid it alltogether.
I have a pretty cool looking anodized aluminum wastegate i was thinking of gutting and dropping in the tank after some preperation, its never been used but im afraid that it has some oil in or on it that i cant easily remove.
Any suggestions?
