availability of illegal fish in Australia?

Hey guys an girls, I don't know about anyone else from Australia but I'm kinda frustrated by the lack of predatory fish we can get our hands on. I personally am not to keen on arowanas or clown knife fish etc. I'd love to be able to get my hands on somthing like a snakehead or piranhas. Just wondering if anyone here in Aus has personally ever seen these species of fish here. I do know piranhas are floating about but I don't know where.

Personally I'd be willing to take the risk of owning them. But just wondering if people know they exist here. I know theres gold and green arowanas here in Perth so I don't see why not other fish.

Basically would like to hear a few stories even if it means you have to PM them to me

Never heard of a Piranha keepers but how about red tail catfish and shovel noses? Ive seen them for sale a few times.

Personally I'd be willing to take the risk of owning them.

Not worth being penalized simply for keeping a fish illegal in your area. MFK is accessible worldwide and any such illegal activity will not be tolerated.
