How old do Iridescent Sharks and Tin Foil Barbs get?

With good fishkeeping alot of bigger fish can live 15+ years. I would imagine the same for these.

I think I heard Irids live a really long time since they get so big but grow pretty slow.

I would say with proper care and accomodation, they can live for 10 years or more.

a lot of fish in general live for quite some time when they are happy in there surroundings

Not the ones I had, they grew like weeds! I had around 1.5-2" per month on mine.

I think it depends on how big the tank is...
