Average price for polypterus bichir bichir?

There's a beautiful 7" specimen at a local shop for $80 and since I have never seen one available locally, I'm wondering if this is a reasonable price to pay. I'd like to get it, but I'm not gonna pay an arm and a leg if it isn't normally an expensive fish.

If it's 7" I would lean toward it not even being a PBB, but 20"ers usually run about $250-$350 depending on where you get it. I would say $80 is a fair price, however before you purchase I would post a pic for a positive ID to make sure you aren't buying an over priced mis-ID poly
