im doing a san substrate for my 125 gallon and amd going to use about 70 to 80% pfs with some high grade stuff mixed in how much per pound could i expect paying a member said 10 cents a pound does that sound right, any epxperience in buying pfs

thatll please my near empty wallet, landscaping at the age of 16 sucks, especailly when you gotta buy 3 pairs of 800 dollars skis not much left over money for the good ol hobby

yea pretty much race, ranked pretty high in new enlgand, but trying to get sponsored for freestyle this year so invested in some good gear, my two obsessions, skiing and fish

tanks 84 by 18 i think get 100 pounds an put like 70 80 pounds in and use some other for a smaller tank or something and mix it in with some high grade sand and some coral

Ah your taking my mixing advice lol. I mix mine 30 pounds of white ultra reef to every 60-70 pounds of pfs. I probably told you this though. I pay $6 per 50 lbs of pfs. So I pay 12 cents a pound.

I'm sure the price varies by region and store. At my local pool supply store "Holiday Pools", they charge me $8.00 per 50lbs. It's bagged in-state as well.
