Average price for Tetraodon baileyi (hairy puffer)?

I was thinking about buying another puffer again. Last one that In had was about 2 yrs ago. I was thinking about a Tetraodon baileyi. Really liked the looks of them. I found afew online for sale but I found out that one of the lfs said that they could order just about any one but they where seasonal bout like most fish. A Hairy puffer or a Congo puffer are my 1st choices for now.
 
In all my aquarium shop crawls up and down California I have only seen them a handful of times and the prices weren't very consistent between stores they have ranged from $35 to $80
 
Thanks, I have seen one online being sold for $65 but I think its 4" though. I been watching some on YouTube.com and read many fact sheets on here about them. I will have to ask the dealer at the lfs tomorrow if he has any on his order lists and any is so then I will ask him the prices.
 
Cool choice, if you don't mind an inactive fish that lays around all day, looking like a turd. ;)

HAHAHAHA!. Yeah the Hairy puffer does look like a turd. Im not new at puffers. Just to many of the FW species other then dwarf puffers. I have owned stars and stripes, burrfish, porcupines, GSP, figure 8's, and FW dwarfs. Its been yrs sence I've had any and Im starting to miss owning them again. I been lurking in the other forums for awhile now. Pufferpunk, glad to meet you. I have seen you alot on the forums when it comes to puffer. I guess the name fits...lol. Many FW puffers the I like but only afew that I can only buy and own. Never owned none of the bottom dwelling type FW puffers before. The Congo puffer looks like a good choice too.
 
on aqua bid there is one for 65 and about congo puffer good luck i only seen one for about 75 they dont come in often

ThatFishPlace has 2 Congo puffer for sale. I think one is around $35 and the other one is $40.

yea but there out of stock and i ve been asking since august to see if they will have it in stock and they said it would be a long time
