Hey everyone,

I'm working on a website with average prices for shark and ray species. So far I've gotten a decent amount of sharks up, but lacking in rays. I'm currently working on the saltwater rays, but there are some freshwater rays I need average prices for. Here's the list, I know some are rarer, but just let me know what the average prices are for the ones you know. Thanks! (the website is www.sharkprices.weebly.com )

im no breeder so cant tag price for Rays mate but as Rayslover i would pay skyhigh price for such a Rays
so pretty much depends on the quality of the Rays
WC tend to cheaper than CB

Thanks for your help! Yeah, some of those rays on there are incredibly rare. Species like the Himantura (giant FW ray) and most of the rays in general towards the end are very rare.
 
im quite surprised that all the breeders and experts havent chipped in yet lol
 
This is a very complex question. Dont think you will get much feedback on this one... Prices are all over the map depending on if wild, cb, size, sex, quality, etc...

As vamptrev said above, this is a really complex question, so many variables.

May I ask what the purpose of the average prices is? Are you putting the website together to guide potential buyers or sellers or????

the purpose of the average prices if I am working on a shark and ray book, and I want to include average prices for species. However I can't just put them in the actual book since they'll be constantly changing. Therefore I decided to make a little website and update it as necessary.

Let me help out to make it more specific. WC or CB, whichever is cheaper is what I would prefer. Some of the rays will likely only be WC, so WC if that applies. Size would be for a pup, and if you happen to have one for a sub-adult, juvenile, and/or adult, that'll help as well. Sex... either or. I didn't even know it made a difference. Quality wouldn't be the very worst, but definitely not the best - somewhere in the middle of it.
