2 little 4 inchers. Caught them last week. They were eating and swimming just fine, then today they are belly up. Now I have an empty tank full of minnows. lol. 2 of the sticklebacks I got with the minnows died too. oh well, i have some pet minnows now.

It's a problem we have to face with natives, sometimes no one knows why they just randomly die...
Was your tank cycled? IIRC white bass don't tolerate poor water conditions as well as some other natives, such as sunfish. And since they were so small poor water conditions might be even harder on them.
if the sticklebacks died too means something wrong w water cuz sticklebacks live thru anything in my tanks...
What size tank and how many fish did you have in there? Even if cycled a sudden huge bioload increase could cause the tank to start cycling again.
