awaited water change

i ,like a week or so had jewel cichlid eggs,today they are nearly free swimmers.when can i change their water and how as the lfs keeper told me dont change it until they are 20 days old or they will die,can plz somebody tell e what to do.i have also put a batch of infusoria for them.can anyone tell me how fast will they grow in 3 ft. tank with just their parents in a month and is egg yolk and infusoria good food for them.

I change water on my tanks whether the fry are wrigglers or free swimming. It won't kill them and will actually help them grow faster.

I'll do water changes like stated above, just make sure you aren't dumping buckets in or anything...gently...gently...
