Now a little over 9". I couldn't get him to come out in the open for some reason, so this is the best pic i could get of him going for a pellet :)

Yeah thats just an awful pic. Are you kidding thats a great pic and the fish looks very healthy. I'm wanting some of those guys again thanks to some of the more recent pics that some members have posted.

Very pretty Dave. Your pics on a bad day put my best work to shame... :( how long have you had him? Tankmates?

Ok, maybe I over exaggerated. It's not an awful pic, it's just I would have liked to get him with his fins straight up, and full bodied. Thanks for the comment. Getting them again definitely doesn't sound like a bad idea.

Thanks Justin. I have had him since early march, when he was 5.5". He is with 2 more female psittacus, one of which is gonna have to either get a new tank, or rehomed. 2 lent pikes, 2 large altifrons, and 2 Godmani. The lents also should be going into their own tank in the near future. So far they have been angels.

very nice fish! My 4" Psittacus died a couple weeks ago for some unknown reason

Thanks. I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. I hate when a fish dies unexpectedly.
