Basement

An awesome Chicago basement!!

If you're a Chicagoan and you've been to the Museum of Science & Industry, this might look familiar.

I can't believe this guy can just go down in his basement and visit whenever he wants.

Talk about a "blast from the past ..."

i was thinking the same thing:D

Wow, that is amazing! I would end up spending most of my time down there! Of course, I would have to build a fish store as one of the attractions so I could go there and give myself great deals!!

This reminded me when I saw something similar. A friend's parents own an old school bar/restaurant along an old main street in Iowa. You sort of got that ballroom, speakeasy feeling when you went inside. I got to go down in the basement once and was amazed! The original city street and store fronts were still all there! It was dark and dirty, but the porch railings, windows, doors...everything was all still intact for several city blocks! It was really creepy in a Planet of the Apes sort of way, but also really cool! I have never seen anything like it!

Thanks Red Devil!

No, it was pretty much an impomptu kind of thing. We just finished up eating dinner and the owner asked if I wanted to see something amazing. Of course I said yes. I kept thinking with some investment and some hard work, it would make an amazing shopping area.

I love the basement video. I think people that are creative and unique like that are truly larger than life :)
