I just HAD to share this awesome "steal" with you guys! I was at my lfs today, and my hubby seen this jack dempsey that he just had to have. The tank was marked 9.99, so he asks the fish keeper if that was the right price, and he said no, it is 20.00. He ended up giving us the JD for 9.00 because it was priced wrong. After it was all said and done, the lfs gave us another dollar off, so we got this 6 inch JD for 8 bucks! Talk about one hell of a deal! I am still trippin!!

I have seen them go anywhere from 10 bucks and up depending on their size. but for one as big as the one i got today, I have seen em go between 25 to 35 bucks. I really want an electric blue one, but have yet to find one

I see electric blue dempseys at the big, chain pet stores rather often, so you might check there if you haven't already. I know TFD has some too, but they have a $100 minimum on their orders.
