That rock is awesome. Does it raise or lower ph levels? Is it good for fresh and salt?

It raises the PH and creates a buffer, maintaining right around 8.0. It is awesome for both salt water and fresh water, especially for Africans, who need the higher PH.
A lot of my customers who use it for salt water are switching over to it from live rock to avoid the "hitch hikers" in live rock. They say it doesn't take long for this rock to be covered with growth anyway.
