Went to Kuwait University to apply yesterday, and after having to talk to some 20 people, get a load of paperwork done... 3 and a half hours later
I got accepted for biology on the spot and didn't have to wait a week to know my fate like everyone else!!!!!!!
I'm gonna be majoring in zoology and going for marine biology as a minor

Study hard and have fun in college and you will do great!

Advice: Buy your books online and NEVER from the campus book store. You will save thousands of dollars over the course of your 4-5 year program! Also, check with the professor or others who have taken the class and see if previous editions will work or search ebay and get the International Editions (usually not color, but they work just the same).

Ha, didnt see you were overseas. Apparently "Kuwait University" didn't give it away
Most of my international editions come from India, but I am sure shipping is more expensive.

Congrats... welcome to the wonderful world of college... =] My first bit of advice... Doesnt matter how good at school you have been.... take it easy your first semester and dont pile on the classes...as in.... take a couple of biology/math courses and a couple of your "extra" classes.... if you take to many math/bio courses at once.... well your in for it.... =] Just get used to it your first semester.

good =] yeah I made the mistake of taking 5 classes at once... very stressfull. You will enjoy it and hopefully you will have some great professors.
