Awesome Oscar

I've never seen an Oscar that looked like this the spots on his face are perty cool reminds me of a pike but just wondering if anyone has seen one like him before sorry for the bad pictures the other Oscar's were getting in front of him

I have. The spots go away once he starts to get some size on him.

I was thinking the same thing. The Oscars in the photos look like "small guys"...and that patterning may help them stay camouflaged in their natural habitat. Once they get larger (and better able to defend themselves in the wild)...the pattern changes.

Damn that would be cool if it stayed these guys are too small for my tank but if I saw an adult like that I would get it thanks guys

Where I work, most of the juvi oscars we get look like that. If their color stayed that way I would own one lol.
