I ordered three bichirs from Ryan in Canada and had them shipped in yesterday. All I gotta say is wow... great guy, great service. Very prompt replies and took the time to answer all my questions. The communication was excellent. I had ordered three endlicheri's, but one of them jumped ship the night before it was supposed to be shipped out. Ended up replacing it with a lapradei.
When I got them yesterday, these guys were very healthy looking and active. The packaging was also superb. They also came bigger than advertised, which I definately can't complain about. They ate like pigs last night when I fed them. The pictures that were posted don't do justice to how nice these guys are! I also got reminded as to why I didn't want a lapradei originally.... for some reason these guys creep the hell outta me. Maybe it's their head shape or something. I saw a 2' one once when I was younger and I just remember how hue and creepy looking it was. I like all the Polypterus species and just think the'yre gorgeous, just not the laps. But I guess I'll have to overcome my lapradei-phobia soon though since I own one now
