We had a healthy Betta living in a biorb. All was fine and dandy but literally over night all hell broke loose, first it was dropsy, then gil rot/disease. Next it was various types of fungi and bacteria, and tail rot. The poor guy was literally being eaten alive. If its on the back of a Mardel box, he had it. (just barely an overexaduartion).

I was ready to just flush him alive, the pain of that had to be less than the pain he was going through. He wasn't even swimming or eating, just... waiting to die at the bottom.

As i was at school, mom bought Maracyn, Maracyn-2, and a bottle of Maroxy.

About 3 days of those, then on the 4th day we added salt and heat, and some stress coat. currently, about 2 days after the stress-coat was added, all he has now is just a small spot of fungi, and some missing tail due to the rotting, and is swimming and eating normally.

I am pleased with how the Mardel products work and highly recommend them to anyone.

I'm sad we didin't take any pictures. We we're so sure he was doomed, taking pictures of our beloved dieing betta seemed wrong...

Any of you guys have close survivor stories you want to share?
