I was taking a look at my lfs new stalk when I saw a tank file of a pile of albino 2" oscars on the bottom and only a few swimming still. Some were dead, while some were close to it. I'm sure it's not their fault totally and the tank said "New in stock, not ready for sale". But still not a pretty thing to see.

today i say a 20-25 gallon tank with about 7 10-12" midas 2 were dead and the others were just in horrible shape, they looked sick and they were beaten up! it was horrible :(

See this lfs keep great care of their fish. Probably the best here for variety, quality and cleanliness and care. Their tanks are spotless and rarely hold disease. That's why I was so surprised to see this hear. They have a black tip reef shark aswell there. And large tanks for the large cichlids and fish.

oh then that just sucks :( baby oscars are cute

you sure they are not just sulking, i've seen oscars like that when they first get them in and in a few day time they are swimming about like normal.

AKA quarantined fish. Should have asked the LFS rather than make accusations of them having sickly fish.
This is good practice by the LFS.
