I just got a aquaclear 110 for my 20gal tank. You would think it is to much, but it actually works great. There is less turbulence than my Fluval c4 filter that was in it before. Allot more room for bio.

I agree, way overkill. If it ends up not working out i can always adjust it down to 166gph but still a ridiculous amount of filtration and bio.
Hi i don't think so, i like 10x gph for the size of the tank.But that how i like todo things but i keep Oscars witch are messy eats and good poopers.The filter i run in my 75gallon tank is Fluval C4,Fluval 405 and the Fluval 304 on one tank.
O and i don't like to use just one filter on one tank just because if one goes down you still got one filtering, I had my 304 go down for a week because the stores didn't have the parts to get it up and running. This is just my 2cents pal
