Axanthic tinfoils

Just bought myself 2 new tinfoil barbs, they are called ghost tinfoils in the Lfs, are they axanthic?

I don't think that would be axanthic. the definition of axanthic is, Lacking xanthophores, which produce yellow pigment, usually leading to a dark individual. The eyes appear black in the pics so I am guessing it is some form of Leucism. Leucism is a condition characterized by reduced pigmentation in animals and humans. Unlike albinism, it is caused by a reduction in all types of skin pigment, not just melanin.

I was under the impression that the leucistic redtail tinfoil barbs are the ones called "gold foil barbs"? Do you know if these are the smaller redtail tinfoils (B. altus) or the bigger B.schwanenfeldii species?

Thanks I have 2 golden tinfoil, I don't know which type these are, just saw them 2 days ago in an Lfs

thanks Me too not really a fan of tinfoils, but I also have 2 pieces gold color which were given to me.
bought this 3 as this was the first time i saw this kind being sold here

do tinfoils continue to fin-nip when they get older? just seems like that would be something that would piss off arowanas

So far my Tinfoils are afraid of my aro, I don't think they dare nip the aros fins, as i can see some scratches on their bodies, more likely from being bitten by my aro.

Some update of my tinfoils after almost a month with me, they have grown a lot bigger
