I like the axolotls but they need cold water, and I dont have that. What does not come out of water, and is in tropical temp. roughly 82 degrees

polypterus

aren't those caecilians "Rubber eels" tropical amphibians that are also aquatic...although I haven't seen them in years

you're confusing me.

first of all, axolotl is not a fish.

so, do you want a fish that's like an axolotl? or an amphibian that's like a fish?

most newts/salamanders prefer cool water that's below 75F, and you should always have dry land available.

caecilians would work depending on the sp. as they are tropical and some are fully aquatic , also what is in your aquarium as caecilians may try to eat small fish such as tetras and if it trys to eat a corydoras catfish the catfish's dorsal fish spine will kill the caecilian.
