Has anyone used these? If so do you recommend them? I'm looking for a good sponge (air powered) that'll work on tanks 10 gallons to 120 gallons.
Thanks :grinno:

I've used them and found that the air diffuser in the base tends to clog a little. I just took a 1/16" drill and made about 10 holes in their stock diffuser and they work like a charm. That only applies to the vertical ones. The ones that suction cup to the back of a tank and are shaped like an "L" are awesome.

For the price, they're worth it.

Thanks rallysman! The price is unbeatable and it looks to be a good design (the ones which suction to the wall).

Have you ever used the Azoo air pumps, specifically the azoo 9500? And if so do you like those on the operation and noise efficiency?

Thanks! :D

Check out "jehmco fish room supplies" for sponge filters / pumps and all sorts or stuff. They have a large selection and good prices IMO.

I have a couple of azoo 8500 and it's a very nice pump. It's pretty powerful and has 2 output setting so if you're not in the room you can increase the air flow. Even on high it's not very loud though.
