Azul Cichla question

At what size do Azul cichla color up? Mine is 4" and eating smelt each day. Thanks.

mine are starting to get their blue a bit at about 6"+ roughly

cause little ones are so spangly...

Not sure when they get the blue, I've got one pushing 7" and it's very spangly but when the light hits it right you can see a lot of blue in its fins. The fish will grow to about 24"+, so being your's is 4", you've got a while to go.
