Azul's from Wetspot

Came in nice and healthy. Ones around 2", the other around 1.75", so a little larger than advertised. Just hoping their Azul's and not Tem's. Sorry cell phone pic

Good that they are a little bigger than advertised.Once they start eating it won't be long before they grow a bit more and develop the tell tale piquiti spots and then you'll know for sure.

You would hope since they are cb that they would know for sure that they are azuls and not tems but I am interested to see how these turn out since they were so cheap

I bought some of these a little while ago. As they are growing the horizontal bar broke up and they are getting some vertical bars now. From what I can find mine look to be piquiti. A little bit longer and will be post pics for better confirmation.

No, solid bar into the gill plate stopping right behind the eye

If I counted down right on the cichla ID thread, they look exactly like pic 9 starting from the top, which would indicate piquiti

Yes, 3-4 vertical dark bars and some spots.
