B&H, Super Speedy Delivery

I got my 580EX today from B&H, along with a few other goodies. I can't believe how quick it came! It was out there waiting when I left for work at 2:30 Tuesday and it was only ordered Monday morning! Wow!

I also have to say that I never imagined how chunky this flash is...it's huge! I also got a Manfrotto ball-head and tripod that I'm loving...a lot better than the POS Quantaray I had previously. We went through two of them, both times the same piece breaking off. It was also a pan-head which was really annoying to work with.

I also got a Hoya R72 infrared, so keep on the lookout for some new pics from me!

Mel, shopping, look at that NICE!!! You are in CT so of course it was fast. But they ARE very good. And that flash is very big but it's also SOOOO good. Looking forward to new stuff, specially the IR stuff.

Coming from NY, you'd expect it to be speedy, but I've ordered from quite a few places based there (not photo gear) and some of it might as well have been coming from Hawaii, lol.

I'll be all set for a while till it comes time for me to get some glass. But, that won't be till Christmas-time, most likely.

All these guys are shipping well. Last Thursday I ordered my new Nikon 12-24mm lens. They shipped it out the same day and I had it on Friday. That was from buydig.com, outdside of the city in NJ, to Baltimore.

FedEx and UPS are getting the job done. Regular freight too.

Yeah, I got it mainly for zoo stuff and some fill. That dinky on-board just 'ain't cutting it, lol.
