B. Rousseauxii (Dourada) growth rate? at

i bought this guy yesterday and i was wondering what's the growth rate like on these guys if i feed him a prepared diet like anchovies. He already took some cut anchovy today.

Im asking cause i recently lost my 7"er which was feeding on mollies that time. He grew from 3.5"-7", in 4 months. Will there be any difference in growth or will it just be the same?

I'd expect anywhere from .5" to 1.5" a month when small like that

If things go as average and starting from 6", I'd expect ~12" after one year.

They don't need live feeder fish. In fact, almost no fish does.

Why did you lose the 7"-er?
