i read or heard a while back that catfish are sensitive to salt when there young, is this true?

i know i spelled the title wrong lol, i type fast, it happens

From my experience, it all depends on the individual.
Ive really had hit an misses on salt with my previous baby cats.

If situations are dire, your best bet would be to gradually add salt
start with 1 teaspoon per 10 gallons the first couple days and observe the effect,
if they handle it well, you can bump it up to a teaspoon per 5 gallons.

Salt should only be used on baby cats if it is absolutely necessary, otherwise there is no need
