Babies got an upgrade what to stock the empty tank with?

Finnaly got a new tank for Freddy Jason and Manson!! Now i got an empty 35g tank that i want to put fishies in. I was thinking getting 6 pea puffers cause I could keep them in that for life right? I'm currently cycling my 4' 55g and getting it ready for my piranhas, but after they are moved would I need to compleatly empty the 35g and re-cycle the tank? Or could i just take out and clean the gravel and everything in the tank do a water change and put the new fish in that without having to cycle it?

No need to take everything out, just do a water change after you move the pirahnas (if needed) and you can put some fish in. Make sure you leave everything running after you move the p's

infact you dont have to cycle the 55, just use some gravel from the 35 and some filter material from the 35 and add it to the 55 and your good to go. no need to cycle.

Use the 35 as a quarantine tank if you don't already have one.
