Cincinnati Oh.
My red texas flowerhorn hybrid and red devil flowerhorn hybrid had like 500 babies. What should i do to help them stay alive and how should i go about it please. This is my first time ever having babies so any pointers will help

If you have a small tank available, throw in a spongefilter with air pump and heater leaving it bare bottom for ease in cleaning. Suck up all or half the fry and as soon as they're free swimming, feed with frozen baby brine shrimps, newly hatched brine shrimps, micro worms, hikari first bite or crush your own food. Micro worms imo works best and frozen baby brine shrimps is convenient.

Ok thank you. I do have a smaller tank actually 2 but i dont have an extra heater at the moment. I had to take my other 2 fish out of the tank where the babies are because the mom and dad wasnt having it at all and being very protective as they should plus i didnt want them to be stressed out. But i posted a pic of the babies and the dad let me know if you can see it. Im still kind of new to this site and havnt really figured it all out yet lol
