baby adonis L155 pleco baby red tail catfish compatability ?

Hi iv got a baby Adonis about 2 inch and im getting my red tail catfish 2 half inch tomorrow now but could I keep them together in a 4x2x18 tank or will my red tail catfish eat him.it would be nice to have them together to keep each other company and hopfully the Adonis will grow quicker in the bigger tank heres some pics for yous this is when the supplier got him in he was tiny.

No

The red tail at that size could probably swallow it and you dish both fish dying one from being eaten and the other by choking. If not now the red rail will out grow the Adonis in no time and then it will happen

Agreed red tails grow quick and can either eat or attempt to eat things not much smaller than themselves

I wouldn't risk either fish by trying to keep them together if keeping them separate is an option.

thank you I kind of thought that but was kind of hoped I was wrong ill keep them apart.my other choice of tank m8 would be pacu but again is it best to get large pacu so they don't get ate there going in a 8x8x3 pond as soon as I get the last 30 blocks I need to finish the walls lol.
