Baby apple snails under gravel?

Hey all, my Apple snails eggs just hatched 2 days ago and there everywhere haha.
I noticed that most of them are under the gravel and im just wondering is this is normal? I mean, they look as if there trapped Im not sure if there there on purpose or if i should lift them from under the gravel?

I have some baby apples that do dig but not too deeply to take a nap. Some adults partially bury themselves.
