At that size, does it still have a yolk sac? I'd go with frozen bloodworms.

agree...

I currently have a 2" baby Jardini that is eating Hataki blood worms.... I ONLY recommend that for now.. until they have reach the 5" mark where they will be big enough to eat insects and bine shrimp and garden earthworms...

I'd forget the bloodworm if you want it to grow fast, I would feed a combination of small live fish (guppys or similar) and smallish crickets, then when he hits 6'' you can try and get him onto foodsticks / pellets and prawn.

get him guppys then when he gets bigger get him other food besides feeder

Soften floating pellets feeding afew times a day will make the fish grow faster. Not to mention a bigger tank.

well hes been eating abt 2 frozen shrimp a day. hell make sure to get it down. i bought him because all the other aros followed him around and he seems real tough.

might throw beefheart in there once or twice a week.

what do you guys think is the best way to keep him in the tank? He hasnt seemed like hes tried to jump at all, but for cover I have 2 glass versa tops, and then I put a towel over the whole top of the tank to fill in the gaps and not let him know there is a way out. the towel seems to be good because it drapes over the glass about an inch, and this gives him a hiding spot.
