Baby arowana attacked

i found a baby silver arowana that was almost gonna die. it was attacked by the bigger tank mates, so i decided to take the guy in. Wht do u think r his chances of survival. i dont hv any history of the baby fish.

He looks pretty beat up, all you can do is keep the water quality pristine and keep an eye out for bacterial infections. Sorry I can't really give you a good judge of his chances

Tbh honest a slim chance of the Arowana surviving. Nice of you to rescue the Silver Arowana and hopefully it pulls through. This is why I suggest not placing Silver Arowana in a aquarium with aggressive tankmates at that size they are fragile and stress easily.

Infection is inevitable with that much skin missing. He's also going to lose ions through the wounds and have difficulty with osmoregulation.

I think it's still saveable but you'd need effective antibiotic treatment ASAP. I would also use salt mix (for saltwater aquariums) and slowly increase to 9 psu to combat ion loss.

Try get white cloud minnows they float at the top and the Arowana like that hope he’s okay
