I have recently purchased 3 arowanas. 2 silvers and 1 Jardini, sadly my jardini died in the bag before i could release it in my tank :c
Now, 1 of my silver bullies the other constantly forcing him to the bottom of the tank and occasionaly snaps at him. I was told to keep an odd number of aros as it will help ease the agression. Me and my bf decided to buy 3 more baby aros, but now he wants 7! he really wants to have his own arowana community. I only have a 105 gallon, and im worried they will out grow theyr tank too fast. They'r about 3''. what is your opinion? too many aros?

You will need a HUGE tank in a pretty short amount of time for 7 aros (or even 5 for that matter) a 105 will not cut it very long

you need a ginormous tank and a couple extremely powerful canister filter to couple that many aro. i'm not sure if you don't know the full size of silvers but they grow to more than 3 feet! You'll need a tank size in the thousands!!!

Too many arowana, to little research on arowana. There is only one number that guarantees no aggression and that is one. Your best bet is to only buy the arowana if you can separately house those arowana if or when things go bad.

what brian said!

did you buy the aros at lucky fish? honestly, aro comms can be tricky to get figured out. make sure you have seperate tanks just incase you need to seperate the aros and a BIG tank when they get bigger.
