I just picked up 2 baby arowanas. I have owned larger arowanas before but never baby arowanas. Has just tiny yolk sac left and eating dried blood worms.

Problem is that they both randomly float sideways like they are dead. No signs of sickness. Once I go up to the tank they start swimming away normal.

I originally bought 1 but he was doing this and Pet Store says they would replace it and they gave me the second one and still does the same thing.

Any Ideas?

By any chance, Do you live in Eau Claire, WI? My brother lives there and been travling looking for pet shops. I wonder which pet store did you buy that aro from if your from Eau Claire.

There are many shops in MN that sells aro but they are overprice.

man fish dont float especially sideway, when they do its has to be something wrong.
whats ur water parameter looks like and any other fish in it?
could be just stress

Hey vang, you are feeding it bloodworms, but remember it is still feeding off it's egg sac. This is providing it nourishment.
At this age water parameters are incredibly important.
If I were you, check water params, and slowly adjust if needed.
And I would wait for the egg sac to dissapear before feeding normal foods.
