baby arowana

can a baby silver arowana look a dark grey to a black color? i just bought one today and its realy dark in color with a black strip that runs down its body. its probly 2"-3" and still has the eggsac. not sure if mayby its realy a black and not a silver. will try to get pics up later.

blacks are really easy to notice when they're that small

haha, I wish I had it (minus the yolk sack). that was the only baby black pic i could find on the internet quick. i know i've seen that pic before, but i can't remember where. i wish they stayed like that.
