Baby azul peacock bass not growing?

I bought this Azul peacock a little over a year ago and initially had him on bloodworms, after some months I tried to ween him off of those and onto pellets. He wouldn't have it for weeks so I went back to bloodworms. I would say he has grown an inch and a half MAX which confuses me considering he eats endlessly. I have raised other bass from just slightly bigger and haven't seen this before. Is this purely the feeding? I'm wondering what I can do.

Strange to see that with pbass of any kind. Man, under 2” in a year! I’d say he’s probably the runt. Good luck with him, as long as it is eating and healthy.
