All Vieja (actually Paratheraps now...but its easier to remember Vieja..haha) are TIGHT when adults, although, I have to say my all time fav. is STILL Vieja zonatus....absolutely love them. Get you some of them, and I'll forgive you for not having any pikes yet! LoL!

V. argentea and V. regani are still "Vieja". The others are Paratheraps. Has to do with their diet and down-turned mouths. Is your argentea lacking the black mask? Where'd it come from?
