As much as I love my WC monster bichirs, it's a completely different experience to grow them out yourself.

Here are my freshest batch of baby bichirs for 2012. 6 Endlicheri, 3 Delhezi, 1 LongFin Senegalus, 1 Ornate.

I got the dels, ornate and one endli from a fish store called Azusa Pets on gladstone st in Azusa CA.

The other endlis came from Tongs in Fountaim Valley, and from Ted.

Got the LF sen from Ted as well.

Dels were 20, ornate was 35. Normally wouldnt pay that much but lately I do.t mind supporting the LFS's.

I know how you feel i bought two endlis from ted at about 2 inches when he first got that batch about idk when lol its been a bit of time and they are now pushing 6 inches easily and i got one a long time agot from ted when it was maybe 2 inches and it is now pushing 12. Its fun the only down side imo of raising them is I then get emotionally attached and don't want to sell them lol

I got mine at about 1.5 inches and thin as sewing thread lol. Now one of my Endlis is 5 inches and FAT, while the other turned out to be a SB Endli and is about 3 inches. Also have baby sens growing out with them. A lot of fun.

whoa a stealth heater? careful with that, mine was fine for a year-ish and then started bubbling a few months ago, and when I looked it up I found that they were all recalled and the line discontinued because they were failing in nasty ways, including some reports of tank blowouts, not to mention cooked fish. Pulled it from my tank immediately and put in a Jager.

Cute babies, don't want to see anything bad happen to them!

lol I'll admit, I've had a bad history of letting life get in the way of fish keeping and selling off my bichir collection a couple times. Learned my lesson and now I plan to keep all my bichirs.

I got two of the endli from Ted a few weeks ago.

Sweet! You're taking good care of your baby bichirs, don't you have like 12 endlis growing out right now? I hope you update them soon I want to see the mix of patterns you picked out.

Thanks for the heads up! I read about the recall and actually that stealth heater isn't plugged in lol the tank is heated by an AquaTop heater.

I've just been rushed on WC days and never pulled it out.
