Hi

I just recently got a new baby black arowana. Somehow it is not active at all. It usaully hides in the corner of the fish tank and by the filter alot and doesn't swim as much. Any tips on making more active?

Mine hid in the corner the first few days. My little black is really active at night time. He still hides a bit in the corner or in some floating plants, but when I drop in the pellet in front of the tank he swims right up.
  1. Add more floating plants
  2. Dim the lights or use a night blue light
  3. Try putting the food towards the front of the tank
  4. Just wait for it to get bigger

Mines like that too. I drope pellets and he starts swimming to it.

IT's only about 5 0r 6 inch. I'll wait till it grows to c if its more active.
