Picked up this little black aro a little more than 2 weeks ago (May 17th) after the death of my first baby black aro. it's eating great, already got longer than thicker compare to when I first got it (unfortunately didn't take any pics :screwy:)
wasn't willing to eat when I first got it, took almost a week before it start eating, I was worried and how it attacks FD bloodworm like there's no tomorrow.
Some of the yellow strip is turning black, I'm assuming soon all the yellow will fade away, what a shame that they don't get to keep the color as they grow.

I have it in a 10g now, if I release it in my 180g now it'll disappear via my overflow into my sump

Nice, I just lost 4 out of my five the past few weeks the one I have left was the bully of the bunch and since I didn’t have any other tank I could have put them in he slowly killed them off but he’s definitely growing and loosing his yellow to, I cant wait till he gets big enough for my big tank.

nice black aro

what size tank you plan on keep yours in when it's bigger?

Nice, did you get this one from the same guy as the last one you had.

yea, same guy same price.
was thinking maybe should get few more but not sure when I'll be able to get a bigger tank and don't want any aggression between them so ended up with just one. my 180g should buy me couple years.
