Hey guys,

about a week ago I bought a baby black arowana.
He is not eating anything until today
I tryed everything.
But that is not my main concern
From day one i saw him breathing very hard and he swims as if he is gasping for air.
At first I thought that he is a little bit stressed from the transport but it gets worse everyday.
Today he sometimes flipped to the side.
So it does not look good at all.
My water is fine and all my other fishes are doing good.
Nobody picks on him.
I noticed it looks as if he is spreading his gills
Could he have gill flukes or other parasites should I try to treat him with praziquantel? I don't think there is much time left.
I try to add a video, hope it works.

Hard to tell but definitely a stressed fish. Don’t think it has been brought in well to begin with. Just my initial thoughts. Would add a little salt but i see u have plants. Wouldn’t dose the prazipro just yet. Keep the water clean and reduce stress/dim lights.

That was my thought too.
I just thought he would make it and bought it
I will dimm the light and see what happens.
I am afraid that he has parasites and I wait until it's too late.
