just looking for people with actual baby bowfin (approx 1") experience and how you think you either failed or succeeded. water parameters are perfect. have cover to hide and feeding enough bloodworms to last a couple minutes every 6 hours. thanks, Tom

theyre dropping like flies. any suggestions would be appreciated...

do you know why? does anyone?

I have no idea. I've never had success with the little ones, but then again I've never kept one bigger than 3''. There's several people on here who've kept em so im sure someone with more succes with them chip in.

I caught 20 at 1" last year. 3 made it to 4", one is still alive at 8".

pm e_americanus, or this guy called teletost, not sure if he's on this forum though

they tend to have tapeworms...it normaly doesn't kill them in the wild, but in tanks it can...
