Baby Convict Pictures..

Finally got yall some pictures like I promised!! I just took these last night so they're about 3 weeks old. Hope you can see them they kinda blend in with the sand. The pretty one with the red belly is the mommy.

thanks. there were 2 or 3 hundred to begin with! now there are only about 50- 75. its hard to tell because they hide in & around that little coral decoration thing..

Ugh.....devil convict cichlids. I'm glad I got rid of my last batch of babies a few weeks ago. Separated the horny parents too.

I feel you, i have my 4th batch in the making. but still, free feeders.

I'm glad I got rid of the babies because usually most pet stores won't take the babies. I also originally bred them to be feeders for my other fish but they have since then grown sick of eating them hence why I don't breed them anymore.

I mean if you do feed the parents will they than let the kids grow out to adults while in same tank?
