I have a small tank set up with 12 baby convicts. I recently added a forest of plants for them. I can tell they must love it because I have hardly seen them in the last week. I want to add some more activity to the tank, I'm thinking maybe one or twp of the funky black gold fish or koi with the big eyes. I think the ones I saw were about 2 inches long my convicts are about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Would they be able to eat the convicts? They look really slow but I figured I check before I did it.

I would go with some tetra or livebearer instead of the goldfish. Goldfish are poop machines and will mean extra water changes if you want the cons to live.
I would avoid goldfish and koi since they get pretty large down the road.
