OK, I have seen this question asked dozens and dozens of times with never a satisfactory answer, "What do baby marmorata look like?" It seems there is always someone selling marmorata but as no one has ever seen a baby, no one ever knows for sure if what is being sold is indeed a marmorata. I'd like to put an end to this once and for all...

As you can see, even in its juvenile phase, marmorata are very unique and easily distinguishable from almost any other lugubris group pike.

Very nice, thanks for posting. What varient are they?

Very nice. Those guys make me mouth water for sure. Yes, marms are definitely distinguishable, as well as lenticulata, even when ridiculously small.

What locality these guys from Mark? They almost look Rio Tapajos but don't quite fit the bill. Adult pics of said fish?

Sorry for the confusion... not my fish. I wish they were. That said, they are Rio Trombetas.
