i want to breed my destructors, but i don't want the babies to get shipping size until it is warm enough to ship more safely. therefore i need to know about how fast the babies grow. i understand about 6 weeks until hatching, but then how long until they get about 2 inches long (from eyes to end of tail)?

anyone with experience with baby destructors, redclaw, or even larger na species have an idea?

just for informational purposes, i got an answer from a breeder. for cherax destructors at 76-80 degrees you can expect 12-16 weeks to reach 2 inches eyes to tail.

i'm guessing cherax quadricarinatus (redclaw) and other cherax species would be close to this.
